Fruit is great for your overall health, but did you know that fruit also contains high levels of malic acid which, in moderation, encourages more saliva, mother nature’s natural protector of teeth. Apples are especially great, with 98% of the fruit’s total acid coming from malic acids. However, always make sure you wait at least half an hour before brushing your teeth after anything acidic to maintain strong enamel.
