Dental Mavericks is a charitable dental relief organisation registered in the United Kingdom. They have ongoing operations around the globe, where they support vunerable communities. Since 2010, Dental Mavericks has focussed on promoting oral hygiene education and practice, making dental care accessible to vulnerable populations, and addressing the root causes of dental pain.

 

Their core programs include:

• Volunteer Program: Dentists, dental therapists, dental hygienists, and dental nurses can travel to Morocco to help end dental pain while experiencing the local culture.
• Outreach Program: This program aims to reach out to communities in need and provide essential dental care.
• DM Clinics Program: Dental Mavericks operates clinics that offer high-quality, patient-led, and dignified care.

During Carole's visit, she distributed TePe Toothpaste and toothbrushes to children in need, ensuring each child recieved proper toothbrushing instruction. Her efforts have made a meaningful impact in a region where dental hygiene resources are scarce. Carole expressed her gratitude for the  experience and shared how rewarding it was to contribute, even in a small way, to improving children's oral health.
